Chatroulette is a relatively new website that is getting a lot of attention. It basically throws users into a random video chat with someone else, usually a total stranger. You can find out more about it from Wikipedia. Clearly, there are some interesting privacy implications of this, but from everything that I’ve read about it, I find myself most agreeing with danah boyd’s take on it. There’s something very “Old Internet” about it even though it’s really rather new.
